At Life For Strays, our work is driven by direct, hands on intervention for animals who are injured, abandoned, disabled, or too weak to survive on the streets. We step in where neglect, accidents, and lack of medical access leave animals with no chance of recovery on their own. Every case is handled with medical responsibility, ethical decisio making, and long-term commitment.
Our focus is not limited to rescue alone. We ensure that each animal receives sustained care until they are stable, comfortable, and safe whether that means rehabilitation, adoption support, or lifelong sheltering.
We respond to emergency calls involving injured, abandoned, paralysed, blind, or critically ill animals.
Every rescued animal at Life For Strays receives timely and appropriate medical attention based on their condition. Treatment begins with a thorough veterinary assessment and continues through recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term monitoring when required. Medical decisions are made responsibly, prioritising the animal’s well-being rather than quick outcomes.
Care does not stop after initial treatment. Animals under our protection receive continuous medical supervision to prevent complications, manage chronic conditions, and ensure a stable quality of life.
Animals that are too weak or vulnerable to survive on the streets are housed in our shelter facilities. These shelters are designed to be clean, secure, and stress-free, allowing animals to recover physically and mentally.
Proper nutrition is a critical part of recovery and long-term health. Animals under our care are provided balanced meals suited to their medical condition and age.
Beyond rescue, we work to reduce preventable suffering through feeding drives and awareness efforts in local communities.
We do not abandon animals after treatment. If an animal needs lifelong support, we take responsibility for it. Our work is guided by ethics, accountability, and sustainability — not short-term results.
We rescue stray animals who are injured, paralysed, blind, abandoned, or critically ill. This includes dogs, cats, and injured birds who are unable to survive on the streets without medical or human support.
Every rescued animal receives immediate medical evaluation and treatment. Depending on their condition, they may undergo surgery, long-term treatment, physiotherapy, or rehabilitation. Animals who cannot safely return to street life are provided shelter and lifelong care.
We provide both. Emergency rescue is only the first step. Animals who require extended recovery, special care, or permanent support remain under our care for as long as needed. We do not abandon animals after treatment.
Animals in our shelters receive regular veterinary checkups, proper nutrition, clean living spaces, and daily monitoring. Hygiene, medical follow-ups, and consistent care are strictly maintained to ensure their physical and mental well-being.
